Schools Programme

Our Schools Programme works to improve learning outcomes for children and to equip them with life skills that will help them to achieve their full potential.

We do this by providing on-site, customised professional development and mentoring for teachers in proven play, literacy and self-regulation programmes.

We provide an experienced mentor who works with teachers in their school to introduce the following models:

PAX Good Behaviour Game

  • A classroom based game to teach children self-regulation skills that will help them both today and in later life.

PAX Good Behaviour Game

  • The Good Behaviour Game has been proven to significantly reduce the number of classroom disruptions allowing more time to be spent on teaching and learning.
  • It has also been shown to lead to significant benefits in later life including reduced risk of drug / alcohol abuse and reporting suicidal ideation.

We currently work with teachers in the seven primary schools located in our target area. These schools are:

  • St Francis JNS, Priorswood
  • St Francis SNS, Priorswood
  • St Joseph’s NS, Bonnybrook
  • Scoil Naisiúnta Ide Cailíní, Kilmore West
  • Scoil Fhursa, Kilmore West
  • Our Lady Immaculate JNS, Darndale
