On May 1st Preparing for Life are hosting a free screening of:
RESILIENCE: THE BIOLOGY OF STRESS AND THE SCIENCE OF HOPE
Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport, Clonshaugh Road between 12-2.30pm. This is an initial step in their goal to establish an ACE (adverse childhood experience) informed community. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session.
The documentary, chronicles the birth of a new movement among paediatricians, therapists, educators and communities, who are using cutting- edge brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease. RESILIENCE: THE BIOLOGY OF STRESS AND THE SCIENCE OF HOPE uses beautiful animation and compelling characters to explore the science and the solutions. The film follows pioneering individuals who looked at the ACE’s research and the emerging science of Toxic Stress and asked, Why are we waiting?
