Preparing for Life is currently seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist for Maternity Cover.

The Speech and Language Therapist will ensure the effective implementation of the PFL Early Years
programme in Early Years Education and Care Settings. The role involves building the capacity of
both Early Years professionals and parents, to support children’s oral language development and
communication skills.

The SLT will also support staff in making an appropriate referral of children for assessment and
intervention while increasing the speech, language and communication skills of all children,
enhancing their intellectual, social and emotional development
