Friday 14th October 2022 is Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) Day.

DLD makes understanding and using language difficult and will affect all the languages a person uses. DLD is a lifelong and often hidden difficulty that affects two children in every classroom. DLD can affect literacy, learning, friendships and emotional well-being.   Support from professionals, including speech and language therapists and teachers, can make a real difference.
